Welcome to the Jankuary 2026 submission page! We’re happy you decided to join us for the jankiest, most fun event in all of Retro Twitch!
Below, we will ask you to provide 3 titles and 3 time slot options (all in Eastern Standard Time/EST) which we will use to create a spotlight schedule. We ask for 3 because although we try to give everyone their first choice options, sometimes this is not available because other streamers have already claimed them, or we think a certain title will be a better fit for the event. We are unable to easily change submissions once they’ve been added to the schedule and will only make exceptions for emergencies, so please be certain of the time/s you want before applying.
When you submit your choices, you should receive an automated email shortly acknowledging your submission (please make sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it). We have many submissions to process, and building the schedule takes time, so we appreciate your patience while adding your spotlight to the schedule. We may reach out to you with further questions/clarifications if needed.
Along those lines, be sure to join the official Jankuary Discord channel here (hosted on Zophar’s Domain): This is where we will be posting all instructions, announcements, and updates because we learned last year that some email accounts auto-reject mass emails and so the info didn’t get through or went to spam. Please also make sure that your server nickname matches your Twitch username so that we can easily identify you. Please choose three different date and time slot options for your official Jankuary spotlight. Please note that all spotlights are for one hour only, but you can stream as long as you want before or after as long as your spotlight falls during your actual stream.
Failure to show up for your spotlight means you will not be eligible to re-apply for future Jankuaries, because viewers look forward to your stream and feel very disappointed when you’re not there, which reflects badly on the event overall. All time zones are in EST/Eastern Standard time, so make sure to calculate accordingly.
Please consult the current schedule to ensure you’re not choosing a game already taken. If all of your games have already been selected by other streamers and accepted into the event, we won’t be able to accept you!
The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM EST on January 4th, so don't delay!
Please be sure to check the SCHEDULE to make sure your requested spotlight day/time does not overlap with another Jankuary streamer!
